Does the appearance of resistant fat that cannot be removed with sports or diet make you unhappy? Thanks to liposuction, you can get rid of your excess fat and get a much more fit look!

Liposuction, also known as fat removal, is the process of removing fat that cannot be melted by diet or sports with the help of a special system.

With the application of  liposuction, also known as fat removal or fat absorption, you can both lose resistant fat and accordingly your body can be much more shaped. Fat removal process; It can be easily applied to areas such as hips, waist, hips, knees and abdomen.

Who Can Have Liposuction?

Fat removal is generally suitable for people who have excess fat in certain parts of their body and have not been able to remove this excess with sports or diet before. However, the body fat rate or the general health status of the person has a great impact on whether or not to have the application.

An obese or overweight person should initially regain his health with diet and sports under the control of a doctor and come to a certain weight range.

Fat removal is not a weight loss method, and the person must first get rid of high fat excess in a healthy way. If you are not sure about your fat ratio, you can consult our health consultants for free here.

The procedure is not suitable for people who are pregnant or have just given birth. At the same time, people with systemic health problems such as diabetes, blood pressure and heart should have a test to find out whether they are suitable for the application before having liposuction.

Except for the above cases, every healthy individual can achieve the desired appearance by having fat removal.

What Should I Consider Before Liposuction?

Before liposuction, if the person smokes, they should quit about 1 week before and should not use it during the treatment. If you are using blood thinners, you should leave them under the supervision of a doctor. You should have information about what we need to use by telling your doctor about the vitamins and supplements you are using.

You should stop eating and drinking 7 hours before liposuction. You should not use alcohol and its derivatives 1 day before the application.

How is the Application Made?

Today, liposuction is performed with two methods. Classical fat removal is the process of removing the fat from the body by vacuuming it by entering the area to be thinned with the help of 1-2 mm cannulas under local anesthesia.

Another method used today is laser liposuction, known as Laser lipo (Vaserlipo). Laser lipo is the process of melting resistant fats with laser beams. Fats melted by laser beams are metabolically excreted through the kidney or liver, and there is no incision or stitching process.

Recovery Process After Liposuction?

The healing process in fat removal may vary depending on the liposuction technique applied. After a classical liposuction, the patient should use specially produced corsets for 4 to 8 weeks.

It is normal to have a slight bruising and pain at first. It will pass quickly in the next process. After liposuction, the person can return to work and daily life routine at any time after the first week.

However, heavy sports should be avoided in the first period. You can start exercising with light sports 1 month after the procedure. In order to prevent edema formation, the person must be fed according to the doctor's instructions.

Will I Gain Weight Again After Liposuction?

One of the biggest misconceptions about the procedure is to see liposuction as a weight loss method. Although liposuction may cause some weight loss, the main point of liposuction is to save the person from resistant excess fat, that is, not to lose weight.

If the body does not want to store excess fat again, it is necessary to make healthy eating a life routine. Exercising will help you maintain the body shape that the fat removal application gives you.

If you follow your doctor's instructions and include sports and healthy nutrition in your daily life, you can minimize the storage of resistant fat.

Is fat removal and fat injection done at the same time?

It can be applied as a combined application of fat removal and fat injection. In order to make fat injection, a certain amount of fat intake is needed from the body. Therefore, the fat taken for liposuction can also be used for fat injection.

In addition, if your doctor deems it appropriate, operations such as breast augmentation and tummy tuck can be applied as a combined treatment.
